Reformed Theological Seminary Dallas Presents the Third Annual Spring Lecture Series
The Retrieval of Liturgy for the Church Today - Rescheduled for May 11th
(PhD, University of Cambridge) is an ordained minister in the international Presbyterian Church, United Kingdom, and associate professor of Old Testament at Westminster Theological Seminary in Philadelphia. His latest book is titled Be Thou My Vision: A Liturgy for Daily Worship (2021) as well as the author of a number of other books. Jonny and his wife, Jackie, have four children.
Dr. Gibson's lecture will be covering why the church uses liturgy, and how the Reformed Church specifically is positioned to benefit from a deep liturgical practice. This will be a night to encourage us all to look back at these wonderful practices.
The lecture will be held at the RTS Dallas Campus at 1202 Dragon Street, Suite 104 in Dallas. Doors will open at 6:00, and the lecture will begin at 6:30.
